extract (judge, 2009)

was this supposed to be a movie or a series of vignettes? a season of tv cut down to a movie's length? how about some plot instead of keeping it under 90 minutes? for judge's other movies, the small plots all served the same point: the office sucks, people suck, etc. this one really went nowhere. of course, it didn't help that i was sitting near the most annoying movie patron in the history of movie patrons--snapping (left-right-left), clapping, and stomping at every non-funny joke, and yelling out loud "oh no he di'in't!" when they mentioned the word "masturbate" in a completely unoffensive context. i expect more from presumed mid-50s bev hills suburban housewives. ugh.
