i understand why this movie is a classic, and even more so i understand why it's valuable to have seen (hence larry picking it), but i feel it drags too much for a late 2000s audience who's seen the entire cool part of the movie cannibalized soooooo many times (most notably, the "he doesn't like you" bar scene in a new hope). it's hard for me to give it a higher rating when i was so bored, and so distrated by the abysmal day for night.
