get smart (segal, 2008)

a 7.5 on imdb? A 7.5 ON IMDB?!?!???!?! this makes absolutely no sense to me. this movie was not simply formulaic in its plot; it's entire existence seemed to be birthed from a multi-dimensional graph that told exactly how many jokes needed to be spewed by exactly how many dollars worth of stars to produce the desired amount of profit. an insult to a former favorite tv show of mine. ...and to think--get smart was almost made into a late '90s jim carrey movie.
...to be fair, carell still did occasionally pull out a good line.
